From Yacht Flowers to Clean Waterways, Dianthus cares.

Dianthus Miami, a member of the MIASF (Marine Industries Association of South Florida) was  excited to be an on-site coordinator for the 2019 Broward County Waterway Cleanup on March 2, 2019. So many water conscious locals, National Honor Society and Scout troops showed up to help clean Rotary Park and Boat launch. No stone or coconut was left unturned and the volunteers were able to fill a refuge bin in a few short hours. The weirdest item the teens found was a very long shed snake skin—thankfully no snakes! And the coolest item was a coconut that they opened and shared the juice and fruit with everyone willing to try it. A great event for the waterway, its neighbors and Rotary Park.

With Dianthus’ involvement in the world of yacht flowers, megayacht events, boat shows and more, it was our pleasure to participate in an event that brings together people of all ages who come out in their boats and along the shores to clean all kinds of debris from the waterways.

Sea you again next year!
